Groupe Shift was commissioned to design and deploy a custom production software for an industrial company in full expansion. With the opening of a new plant, the customer needed a centralized solution to manage all its operations efficiently while integrating existing internal processes. 

The choice of Groupe Shift was naturally imposed because of our expertise in custom software development, proven during previous collaborations. Thanks to a long-standing partnership, we have designed a modular solution, perfectly adapted to the specific needs of the customer. The core of the application is based on a proven platform, to which we have added specialized modules according to the client’s business rules. We worked closely with their teams, meeting tight deadlines and adjusting the software as their needs evolved.

Our application includes modules covering administration, metallurgy, sales, orders, finished products, deliveries, raw materials and finance. The main objective was to ensure a smooth transition and enhance operational efficiency while diversifying product offerings.

Key elements and issues of the client

Prior to the project, the client faced major challenges related to the opening of the new plant. It was essential to ensure that new processes integrate seamlessly with existing systems, while minimizing production downtime. In addition, the management of orders, planning and deliveries became complex with the addition of new production lines. The main challenge was to ensure cohesion between old and new processes in order to maintain smooth operations.
