B\u00e9cancour, June 12, 2023 \u2013<\/strong> A year ago, we learned of the appointment of Alain Lemieux as Executive Director of the Vall\u00e9e de la Transition \u00c9nerg\u00e9tique. He had to leave his involvement in the management of Force TI to embark on this great challenge. It is with great gratitude for all these fine years of involvement in GROUP\u00c9 that we have recruited a new member to chair this sector table. A number of applications were evaluated, ultimately identifying the best resource for the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Francis Rondeau as Chair of Force TI. We are confident that Mr. Rondeau will have the interests of his members at heart and will use his skills to lead Force TI towards innovation and growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Rondeau is from Cap-de-la-Madeleine. For nearly 20 years, he has worked in the field of information technology as a programmer, consultant or manager. Currently, he is President and co-founder of Groupe Shift, located in B\u00e9cancour, a company working in the web development of custom software and the Gemba-Walk application, particularly for the manufacturing and industrial field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having regional economic development and businesses in the region at heart, he is also involved on the boards of the Chambre de commerce et d’industries du C\u0153ur-du-Qu\u00e9bec and Group\u00e9 Mauricie-Rive-Sud.  \u201cI am very excited and motivated to join the Force IT team. With my strong experience in the IT field, I will aim to contribute to the development and outreach of members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The digital shift is growing and we must be ready to act for our members in networking and job creation,\u201d explains Francis Rondeau, President of Groupe Shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GROUP\u00c9 team and its Board of Directors are delighted with this appointment and wish him well in his new role at Force TI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
